FITOK Receives Korea Gas Safety Corporation (KGS) Approval!

FITOK has received approval from the Korea Gas Safety Corporation (KGS) for valves used in toxic gas applications. KGS is a testing and inspection organization that operates under the control of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy (MOCIE) and regulates overseas gas-related product manufacturer registration and gas products certificate in Korea.

Last month, a KGS team conducted a comprehensive audit of the FITOK factory’s manufacturing, engineering, and quality processes. As a result, FITOK is now awarded the KGS certificate for completing the manufacturer registration in conformity with the High-Pressure Gas Safety Control Act. This certificate allows our company to sell pressure equipments such as valves that follow ASME B 31.3 specifications to South Korea. This is a great opportunity for FITOK to expand its international markets and to provide better service to its Korean customers.
