Back FITOK Obtains TA-Luft Certification
April 11, 2025 – FITOK, a global leader in tubing, valve, and integrated system solutions, is proud to announce that its core FR/FO series face seal fittings have achieved certification under the revised 2021 TA-Luft (Technical Instructions on Air Quality Control) standards. Additionally, the certification for 6D series tube fittings has been successfully renewed, further solidifying FITOK’s leading position in the market.
TA-Luft is Germany’s authoritative regulation for fugitive emissions from industrial equipment, designed to reduce air pollution and energy waste by strictly limiting gas leakage. The 2021 revision aligns more closely with international standards such as ISO 15848-1, requiring valves and fittings to maintain ultra-low leakage rates even under extreme temperature and pressure cycling conditions. FITOK’s TA-Luft certification testing was witnessed and verified by TÜV Rheinland, with the tested products demonstrating a leakage rate of ≤0.01 mg/(s•m).
